Day 1: Get ready for the first day of your Meru National Park adventure!

Flight time to Meru National Park is approximately 90 mins.  On arrival at the Meru Airstrip you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to Meru Offbeat Camp, your home from home for the next three nights.  The journey from the airstrip to Meru Offbeat Camp will give you your first taste of the wonderful wildlife you can expect to see over the next couple of days.

Meru sits on 870km2 land. Meru Game park can be visited anytime of the year. You should feel free to visit Kenya anytime you feel like. The weather is always favorable in most parts of the country. Meru is a cool and green town and roads leading there are tarmac.

A visit to this park is the best combined to the nearby attractions. As we have said, Kenya is a beautiful country and has lots of beautiful and amazing places. People who vist the place also desire to visit Mt Kenya National Park, Meru is not far from Kenya’s biggest mountain called Mt Kenya. It is wonderful and amazing.

Day 2 & 3: Two full days to explore Meru National Park

Meru is strategically located and accessible to every person or family that wants to travel there. While in Meru , you can also connect to other beautiful places like Maasai Mara Game Reserves, Manyara, Serengeti, Ngoro nogoro, Aberdare National park, lake Nakuru among other beautiful places.


Physical Features

Most of the attractions in Meru National Park are natural and artificial. There are a lot of wildlife animals and plants. The landscape is attractive and Mt Kenya is visible from the park.. Day 4: Depart Meru National Park

After a final breakfast at the camp it is time to bid farewell to your hosts and guides and transfer back to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi.

Your scheduled flight arrives at Wilson Domestic Airport at approx. 12.30hrs, after which your guide will transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch, before you move on to Jomo Kenyatta International for your flight home.  Alternatively, if you are staying on in Nairobi your guide will transfer you to your hotel.


Attractions of a place determine what to do in any destination. This park is about exclusivity. Bird watching, camping, picnics, watching wild animals and taking photos of beautiful places. Wildlife Safaris and cultural safaris and adventures can still be organized. Bird and game watching are mostly done in the morning and evening. Nature walks, fishing and rafting can be organized too.

As you have seen, there are about 14 rivers. Most of the afternoons are spent on cultural tours, swimming, rafting and relaxing among other activities. African safari tours are reliable and will easier your tour and vacation in Kenya. There are also beautiful accommodations outside Meru National Park.
